Full Service Cremation
With years of experience, Secure Haven Funeral Directors have tailored our traditional cremation service to suit families that wish to hold a funeral at Chelmsford Crematorium. With financial transparency a priority, we state all prices at the very start of making the arrangements – catering for all requirements of a full-service cremation.
This service is based on disbursements charged at Chelmsford Crematorium. A supplement of £150 is charged for services at Bowers Gifford Crematorium in Basildon, Three Counties Crematorium in Braintree, Bentley Crematorium in Brentwood, Sutton Road Crematorium in Southend-On-Sea, Cam Valley Crematorium in Saffron Walden and Forest Park Crematorium in Hainault.
Our Traditional Funeral Service package includes the following:
- Removal from home, care home, hospice or hospital during office hours, within a 20 miles radius of our Broomfield, Chelmsford premises.
- Dressing and preparation of your loved one.
- Private viewing in our Chapel of Rest, during office hours.
- Provision of a quality veneer coffin.
- Service to be held at Chelmsford Crematorium.
- Motor hearse and bearers.
- On-line obituary and donations.
- Complimentary scatter tube for your loved one's ashes.

A doctor’s fee of £82 is not included and will be applied, if necessary.
There is a supplement of £150 for services at Basildon, Braintree, Brentwood, Southend-On-Sea, Saffron Walden or Hainault.
Please inform us if your loved one is heavier than 17 stone or over 6’6″ in height as we will need to provide extra staff for safe and dignified transfer into our care. An additional fee of £390 will be applied for a specially-ordered coffin and additional bearing staff.
Payment terms – We require a 50% deposit on arrangement, with the balance of payment within a minimum of 2 working days prior to the funeral service.
